Salmon Arm - June 15
Vernon - July 19
Kamloops - August 9
Penticton - September 6 & 7
What a great, fun, exhausting festival we had in Salmon Arm, with perfect conditions - the weather held off, fortunately. We were all disappointed that Dorothea couldn't join us, as she had broken her wrist and was undergoing surgery - we wish her a speedy recovery. One festival done and one to go - Kamloops will be quite different being on the river, in a nice park with ribfest and a car show all going on. Something to look forward to, and to practise for.

On August 9 we attended the Kamloops Festival. What a great day we had. This was the first time we had attended this festival since 2019. We recruited 4 paddlers. Two were from Prince George, one from Vancouver and one from Kelowna. The weather was perfect. The Carnation Ceremony was a time of reflection to remember survivors who beat the disease and to others that had fought a good fight but succumbed to the disease.
